Wingshooter’s Youth Shooting Training Program:

Andre Van Der Westhuizen, CEO of SA Wingshooters reports back on a recent Youth Training Program;

“Thanks once again for the generous donation to SA Wingshooters Association!

I’ve just returned from a Youth Training day at a primary School in Randburg, Johannesburg. SA Wingshooters had three qualified instructors at the venue today and we taught grade 4 to grade 6 pupils in the basic handling, shooting and safe use of firearms. The HULL banner was also displayed.

 Interestingly enough, (however expected, due to past experience with teaching youngsters), the girls shot better than the boys. The top four students were all girls – Highest scoring AND best grouping. Due to the firearms laws in South Africa, you may not discharge a firearm in an urban environment, hence the use of 6mm BB guns.”

Entramarc (Pty) Ltd, T/A Sixes and Sevens, is proud to be a part of these important training programs made possible by sponsorship and money raised during the recent Wingshooter- Fausti- Hull Christmas shoot. Thanks to the members who gave generously to support the raffle of two Fausti shotguns donated by Entramarc T/A Sixes and Sevens, to raise funds for this worth- while cause.

It is important that the youth of today are introduced to the sport of shooting, learning safe gun handling, and ethical use of wildlife resources through wise conservation methods. The youth of today are the future of the sport tomorrow.
